Your Comfort Is Our Concern

May in Monterey is generally mild with average temperatures in the low to mid 60’s although morning fog can be widespread and cold. Keep in mind this is a waterfront city and cool ocean breezes may be present. Meeting rooms are sometimes warmer or cooler than you prefer so we recommend layering your clothing for comfort and options. In consideration of attendees with allergies, please limit perfume and cologne.

Special Needs

Do you have special needs (i.e. physical, dietary, etc.) that we can address to make your participation more enjoyable? Please contact Felicia Price at (916) 469-3370.

What to Wear

Dress is business casual. Comfortable shoes are a must. We want you to enjoy your experience.

Keeping Our Meeting Green

LeadingAge California incorporates environmentally friendly practices throughout all stages of planning and execution in order to minimize environment impacts on the cities we meet in. Here’s what we’re doing at the Annual Conference to be responsible partners of the Monterey community:

  • We have an APP!
  • Reusable Name Badge Holders
  • Recycling containers provided for plastic, paper and aluminum cans
  • Use china and silverware instead of disposables
  • Use local, in season and organic foods
