About LeadingAge California
LeadingAge California represents more than 400 nonprofit providers of senior living services -- including affordable housing, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living, skilled-nursing, and home and community-based care. LeadingAge California's advocacy, educational programs, communications and other resources help its members best serve the needs of more than 100,000 seniors. LeadingAge California was founded in 1961. LeadingAge California is affiliated with LeadingAge.
Member organizations are owned and operated by religious, fraternal, governmental and community-based nonprofit organizations. LeadingAge California offers several types of Allied Membership. To learn more click on a topic heading below.
Student
For more than four decades, LeadingAge California has specialized in serving the needs of nonprofit healthcare, retirement and housing facilities for seniors within California. By joining the association, you will learn more about the rewarding career opportunities available in long-term care and aging services. We offer a student Internet membership that provides specialized benefits at a nominal fee, which include:
• Training and Education: LeadingAge California provides educational programs throughout California on a variety of topics. As a student member, you may qualify for scholarships to attend these educational events
• Networking: You will have the opportunity to network with members and learn practical tips that will enhance your professional life

Lists for-profit or out-of-state facilities or companies that manage facilities. Although not eligible for voting membership, Subscribers are accorded membership benefits.

This membership includes individuals who are not employeed in an organization that is eligible for membership, but have an interest in the association.

Member Emeritus
